After a stressful trip to home depot where I learned plumbing by fire I setup a new pump and decided to look into an alarm system and ordered the 513 Alert Sump Pump Sensor and Auto Dialer system. Just to be safe I ordered the additional 513 Alert Open Contact Water Sensor which was a good decision. Two weeks after I finished installing the new pump and alarm I got a call from the system and rushed home to find the pump in working order with no flood.
